SP-TFB-2 Sound Professionals In-Ear Binaural microphones are mounted in extremely comfortable super-soft, In-Ear holders that slip right into the ear structure. They are worn this way while recording and produce an extremely realistic Binaural recording. This is accomplished by having the microphone element right next to the opening of the ear, well inside the ear structure. While recording, your hearing is not impaired, so you can enjoy the sound of the performance while making a very realistic recording. The cables terminate in a right angle stereo 1/8" miniplug.

There are two available microphone sensitivities. The low sensitivity option is for use in situations that will range from fairly quiet to extremely loud sounds. The high sensitivity option if for use in situations that will range from extremely quiet to moderately loud sounds.

Headphones with Built-in Stereo Microphones

With the ISI-HMA-1's you can switch from recording to listening using just one device. After you are finished recording, simply flick the switch and move the connector from the input to the headphone output of your recorder, and you can easily listen to what you have just recorded. This 2-in-1 item makes recording and listening very convenient. The ISI-HMA-1 assembly uses lightweight Sony walkman-style headphones with high quality built-in mics available with either omni directional or uni-directional (cardioid) microphone elements. One microphone element is mounted within each earpiece on the headphones using the ear pads as windscreens, thereby covering the microphone elements. Note: A 1-meter cable is supplied with this headphone/microphone assembly using a right angle stereo connector.
