Practice-perfect.com director Neil Barclay is an experienced
performer across many genres: classical, jazz, rock and folk. Throughout
his career, he has had an ongoing interest and involvement in many facets
of music education. In 1996 he gained a Master's degree in Music Education
for his research thesis which explored various facets of the psychology
of practice and performance. Neil's career has involved working with such
organisations as the London Symphony Orchestra and the Menuhin Foundation
of Bermuda. At present he works for the West Australian Symphony Orchestra,
is leader of their Education Chamber Orchestra (EChO) and is industry
representative on the music syllabus committee of the curriculum council
of Western Australia.
